The Accounting Department of the Town of Hudson, Massachusetts performs the following functions:
vprepares departmental budget;
vprepares annual report;
vmaintains contact with with other officials regarding intergovernmental matters affecting the financial operations of the Town;
vmaintains the financial ledgers of the Town;
vrecords receipts and accounts receivable;
vtracks appropriations and budgeted items;
vprepares vendor warrants;
vcompletes requests for reports from Federal, State and Local agencies;
voversees expenditures of all Town funds;
vexamines all vouchers, departmental bills, and payrolls for accuracy, availability of funds and conformity with legal requirements.
